Yes, UK lenders will reconsider a mortgage application once the foam is professionally removed. We provide the mandatory independent inspection certificates and RICS-compliant documentation your lender requires.
How is the Spray foam Removed?
Open Cell Spray Foam is removed by hand. Specialized wire brushes are then used to ensure the timber structure is mortgage compliant. Closed Cell Spray Foam is removed using SDS and Combi Drills with wire brush attachments. This uses abrasion to pull the Spray Foam from the structure.
What are the risks of leaving spray foam insulation in my roof?
The primary concerns are that surveyors cannot inspect roof timbers for rot or damage. Improper application can restrict ventilation, trap moisture and lead to decay.
What happens to the spray foam waste after it is removed?
All removed spray foam is safely bagged on-site and transported to an authorized waste transfer station. We ensure that the disposal process complies with current environmental standards, leaving your property clean and clear of debris.

Restoring Roof Ventilation
Removing unventilated foam prevents trapped moisture and condensation, actively protecting your timber rafters from long-term rot and structural decay.
Safe, Mechanical Extraction
Our specialists utilize dry, mechanical abrasion techniques to physically clear polyurethane foam without relying on harsh chemical solvents.

We help property owners satisfy strict UK lender requirements, clearing the path for successful house sales, remortgaging, and equity release.
